A leading fabrication company in Singapore is seeking a proactive Sheet Metal Project Manager to oversee end-to-end fabrication projects. The role involves managing project timelines, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with teams to optimize efficiency. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bilingual capabilities in Mandarin and English are preferred.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Sheet Metal Project Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end sheet metal fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and cost control across all stages of production. You will act as the central point of communication between clients, engineering, production, and quality control departments.
Manage sheet metal fabrication projects from quotation to final delivery.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review drawings and ensure manufacturability.
Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress against key milestones.
Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates, changes, and technical requirements.
Ensure product quality by coordinating with QA/QC and implementing corrective actions when needed.
Optimize cost, material usage, and production efficiency without compromising quality or deadlines.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outsourced processes (e.g., surface treatments, laser cutting).
Lead project meetings, prepare status reports, and manage project documentation.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or mechanical project management.
Strong knowledge of metalworking processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, and surface finishing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and team coordination skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual in Mandarin and English is preferred (for client and supplier communication).
