Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, monitor and ensure optimal operational status of the SharePoint Online development.
• Work closely with the business units and assist web content owners with the creation, access control and maintenance of intranet sites within the intranet portals.
• Attend to operational tasks and requests from SharePoint users and admins, ranging from access requests to web development, site migrations, issues/bugs reported and escalate to Microsoft or the appointed SharePoint support vendor as necessary.
• Monitor and maintain operational performance of supported systems and put in place relevant governance and adhere to operational best practises.
• Understand and implement information security management and data management best practises to maintain the security and integrity of the systems.
• Using scripts or tools to run and automate reviews of site access permissions, site activities and ensure operations are running based on documented standard operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma / Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4-6 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying sites, custom web parts/features/solutions on SharePoint Online.
• Proven competency in the administration, configuration of SharePoint Online, related Microsoft 365 apps and Azure services.
• Strong technical skills and development experience with
  SharePoint SPFx framework, Node.js, C#/.NET, PowerShell, Active Directory/ADFS, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5/CSS, XML, AJAX.
  Microsoft Forms & the Power Platform.
• Proven capability in development & deployment of web parts/features/custom solutions for SharePoint Online in conjunction with Azure services like CosmoDB, Azure Functions, Entra ID.
• Good understanding of information security best practices & governance for SharePoint, .NET and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Assess and promote effective use of appropriate 3rd party tools/solutions to address critical business requirements.
