Job summary

Doctor Anywhere is seeking a Health Concierge Officer in Singapore’s central area to welcome patients and ensure a smooth, reassuring visit to our Radiology and Health Screening Centre. You’ll handle registrations, appointments, enquiries, and provide clear information and support for billing and insurance questions.

You will work with doctors, nurses, and staff to maintain accurate records, coordinate appointments, and uphold a warm, professional reception.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing, administrative, or service-oriented role in healthcare preferred.

Our General Health Services team is critical to the success of Doctor Anywhere. We are a team of healthcare professionals who oversee Doctor Anywhere’s medical operations across our clinics, telemedicine, and mobile services. With our patients as our top priority, we work closely together to combine quality care with innovative medical technology and deliver a seamless healthcare experience.

About the role

Be the friendly face that helps make every patient’s healthcare journey smooth, reassuring, and well-coordinated.

As a Health Concierge Officer, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive experience for patients visiting our Radiology and Health Screening Centre. From welcoming patients and managing appointments to answering enquiries and supporting financial counselling, you’ll help ensure every step of their visit runs seamlessly.

You’ll work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to keep daily clinic operations running smoothly while ensuring patients receive accurate information and excellent service. This role is based in Singapore’s central area.

What you’ll do

• Welcome and support patients throughout their visit, creating a warm, professional, and reassuring experience from arrival to departure.
• Manage patient registrations, appointments, and schedules to ensure a smooth and efficient patient journey.
• Respond to patient enquiries on services, pricing, availability, insurance coverage, and payment options, providing clear and accurate information.
• Provide accurate financial counselling to help patients understand their insurance coverage and available payment options.
• Maintain patient records and databases accurately while handling confidential information with care and discretion.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other clinic staff to ensure seamless communication and smooth day-to-day operations.
• Manage incoming calls, documentation, and reports, while helping to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.

• Experience in a customer-facing, administrative, or service-oriented role, ideally within a healthcare, clinic, or medical environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and empathetically with patients from different backgrounds.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A patient-focused mindset and a genuine interest in delivering a positive healthcare experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage patient information accurately and confidentially.
• Comfortable using digital tools and office systems, such as Google Workspace or similar platforms.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a clinic, hospital, radiology centre, health screening centre, or other healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical procedures, or healthcare administrative systems.
• Experience providing financial counselling or supporting patients with insurance and payment enquiries.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred, as the role may involve supporting Mandarin-speaking patients.
