About the team

Our Commercial team is a pivotal component of Doctor Anywhere. We're a tenacious group in charge of a wide range of business development and strategic partnership initiatives. Our primary job is to establish and expand our collaboration with insurance providers, healthcare agencies and corporate clients in order to provide healthcare to employees and the community.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-centric Executive/Senior Executive, Business Development to join our growing employee benefits team in Singapore.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of key insurer and broker partners, serve as the main point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and proactive engagement. You will play a vital role in driving revenue growth, client retention, and identifying new corporate healthcare solutions business opportunities within your assigned portfolio.This role is based in Singapore

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within assigned insurer and broker accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and providing proactive solutions that drive value for their business and their corporate clients and members.
  • Conduct regular client meetings (both virtual and face-to-face) to review performance, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage client escalations efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Account Growth & Retention:

  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets by identifying and closing new business opportunities within existing insurer and broker accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives to identify opportunities for cross-selling Doctor Anywhere’s suite of solutions, including corporate health screenings, vaccinations, and other wellness offerings tailored to their needs.
  • Lead contract renewal negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and maximizing client lifetime value.
  • Track key account metrics, analyze performance data, and prepare regular reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead monthly Service Level Agreement (SLA) reviews with assigned insurer and broker partners, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service standards and addressing any performance gaps.
  • Facilitate annual joint planning meetings to review past performance, align on strategic objectives, and develop collaborative growth plans for the coming year.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across operations, product, and technology teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal client experience.
  • Support finance teams in payment collection by coordinating with partners to ensure timely invoicing and resolution of outstanding payments

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2–3 years of relevant experience in account management role, preferably within the insurance, healthcare, or employee benefits industry.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong interest in business development are welcome to apply.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with a commitment to delivering exceptional pre-sales and post-sales service.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance brokerage landscape and corporate wellness offerings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
