Job summary

BOC Aviation is seeking a seasoned treasury professional in Singapore to oversee settlement, control and reporting of treasury transactions, including financing, investments, FX and derivatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance with at least five years in Treasury Operations or related fields. bilingual English/Chinese capabilities are a plus, and experience with a Treasury Management System is preferred.

• Fluent English; able to prepare financial reports in Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Oversee settlement and control of treasury transactions across financing, investments, FX and derivatives.
• Administer loan facilities with timely processing and policy compliance.
• Review treasury docs and payment instructions for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage group bank accounts, KYC, signatories and online banking access.
• Run month-end close in the TMS and support financial reporting.
• Coordinate treasury reporting for the BOC Group and assist process improvements.

Job description

Reporting to Head of Settlement or otherwise as delegated by Head of Settlement , the successful candidate will oversee the timely execution, validation, control, and reporting of treasury transactions, including financing, investments, foreign exchange, and derivatives. The role also ensures effective bank account administration, compliance adherence, Treasury Management System (TMS) data integrity, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen treasury operations and support business growth .

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the settlement and control of treasury transactions, including financing, investments, foreign exchange and derivatives activities.
• Administer loan facilities, ensuring timely processing and compliance with approved authorities and internal policies.
• Review treasury documentation, payment instructions and supporting records to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
• Oversee group bank account administration, including account opening and closure, dormant account review, signatory maintenance, online banking access management and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance requirements related to treasury activities.
• Execute and monitor month-end closing activities within the TMS, ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial reporting.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of treasury-related reporting requirements for the BOC Group.
• Safeguard data integrity within the TMS while supporting system enhancements, user testing and process optimisation initiatives.
• Continuously strengthen department policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure governance and operational effectiveness.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects and provide support for other ad hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant experience in Treasury Operations, Corporate Finance or a related field.
• Sound understanding of treasury products, settlement processes and banking operations.
• Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and organised, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Effectively bilingual with ability to prepare and review financial reporting in Chinese.
• Experience with TMS and bank account management platforms would be advantageous.
