Job Summary
Oversee and manage a team of technicians to ensure efficient servicing, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of appliances. Responsible for daily operations, customer satisfaction, team performance, and process improvement to support the company’s service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of service technicians handling a range of household and electronic appliances including air-conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, heaters and etc.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily maintenance and repair jobs to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Provide hands-on support and technical guidance to technicians, especially for complex troubleshooting or installations.
- Monitor job progress, resolve on-site issues, and ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Maintain strong communication with customers, addressing enquiries and complaints professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee safety compliance and implement workplace safety practices in all service operations.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; liaise with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Track service performance metrics and generate regular reports for management review.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and contribute to process enhancements and training needs.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in appliance servicing, repair, or maintenance across HVAC, white goods, or similar categories.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Technical knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of appliances.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply as trainees.
