Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead requirements gathering workshops with internal business stakeholders to provide technical guidance and assist with capturing all necessary business, functional, and technical requirements for designing and implementing solutions.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet customer requirements aligned with project plans and timelines.
  3. The ITOM Technical Architect should be comfortable designing ITOM & CMDB solutions, including Event, Discovery, Service Mapping, AIOps, and Orchestration.
  4. Gather requirements for new solution implementations, remediate prior implementations, provide consulting and advice, and build new solutions.
  5. Ensure solution architecture analysis, design, and development activities, with emphasis on leading efforts involving process, solution design, and integration, while ensuring technical leadership and adherence to best practices.
  6. Produce detailed functional design documents to match customer requirements.
  7. Propose integration with other tools and vendors where possible and define best practices for integration.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  1. Ability to create and present detailed technical designs, plans, and training to customers.
  2. Minimum of 9+ years of technical and functional knowledge and implementation experience in IT tools and ITIL processes/functions. Experience in development, configuration, and integration on the ServiceNow platform.
  3. Over 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex, multi-tier, multi-tenant, end-to-end solutions in a high-availability environment.
  4. Experience in project delivery and working directly with customers and clients.
  5. Expertise in import/export of configuration/asset data, web services (XML, HTML, REST), and database relationships.
  6. Ability to work in a project-oriented consulting environment, estimate effort, and communicate status to management.
  7. Experience working with geographically distributed development teams.

  • Certified Implementation Specialist Discovery
  • Certified Implementation Specialist Cloud Provisioning and Governance
  • Certified Implementation Specialist Service Mapping
