Resource Requirement: ServiceNow Developer
Scope of Work
1. Development & Technical Implementation
- Design and develop scoped applications and modules using App Engine Studio.
- Automate business processes using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow HRSD and IRM modules.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Integration Hub and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Implement data models, business rules, UI policies, client/server scripts, and catalog items.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with organizational architecture and SGTS standards.
2. Security, Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Adhere to IM8 and SGTS guidelines for application development.
- Implement security controls, role-based access, and adhere to data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
- Remediate identified vulnerabilities and address audit findings.
- Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow deployments.
3. System Maintenance & Support
- Participate in sprint-based maintenance activities, including bug fixes, performance tuning, and enhancements.
- Support application monitoring and health checks.
- Log, track, and resolve issues according to defined SLAs.
- Provide technical inputs during retrospectives to continuously improve system performance.
4. Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain technical design documents, configuration details, and deployment guides.
- Document integration specifications and workflows.
- Contribute to the knowledge base for recurring issues and standard resolutions.
Resource Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years developing solutions using ServiceNow modules and platform tools in enterprise/government environments
- Key Skills: Application development, workflow automation, integration development, scripting, data modeling, automated testing
- Technical Knowledge: ServiceNow: HRSD, IRM, App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, ATF
- Preferred Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD); ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM/HRSD)
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, documentation skills
