Role and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ITOM (Discovery and Service Mapping) and ITAM (SAM & HAM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, including Discovery, Asset Management, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Develop workflows, business rules, and scripts to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Create new custom patterns as required for Discovery.
- Understand infrastructure components and their integration within ServiceNow
- Integrate ServiceNow with other tools and systems using APIs and web services.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the reliability of developed solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications and services.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and organizational policies.
- Document solutions, processes, and changes for knowledge management and training purposes.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow features and enhancements to leverage new capabilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
- Strong expertise in ITOM and ITAM processes and best practices.
- Proficient in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and related technologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules, particularly Discovery and Asset Management.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and its application within ServiceNow.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified System Administrator (CSA), CIS-Discovery, CIS-HAM, and CIS-SAM certifications are a plus
