Job summary

A leading marine services company in Singapore is seeking a Service Technician / Service Engineer. In this permanent role, you will perform production, servicing, installation, and commissioning of equipment. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience and an NTC/ITC in Electronics Engineering. This position offers a competitive salary package including OT and variable bonuses.

• Working Location: Loyang (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
• Salary Package: Basic + OT + Variable Bonus (Twice yearly)
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Perform production, servicing, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
• Communicate additional customer requirements to your supervisor.
• Receive and inspect customer-supplied products.
• Ensure all jobs meet technical manual standards and customer requirements.
• Provide cabling diagrams for customers as needed.
• Commission equipment after installation.
• Identify and report quality issues to the Service Manager.
• Supervise technicians during production, servicing, installation, and commissioning.
• Approve release of equipment to customers after successful service and installation.
• Decide on the placement/location for new installation work.
• Supervise sub-contractors on the job site.
• Prepare and approve service reports.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the section manager or supervisor.

• Sound knowledge of computers, electronics, and telecommunication systems.
• Experience in marine electronics or the offshore industry is an advantage.
