Job description

Role

We are hiring an Aircraft Safety Equipment Technician to join our specialized MRO team.

In this critical role, you will work on aircraft emergency systems including evacuation slides, life rafts, oxygen bottles and fire extinguishers.

Work Scope & Responsibilities :

  • Inspect, repair, overhaul and certify adhering to strict aviation standard of Evacuation slides & life rafts , Oxygen cylinders and regulators, Fire extinguishers, Life vests & survival kits
  • Perform hydrostatic testing and leak checks on pressurized components.
  • Repack slides/rafts to OEM specs and perform functional tests.
  • Use OEM manuals to perform repairs & overhaul work.
  • Documentation including 8130/EASA Form 1, strip reports and service records.
  • Adhere to FAA, EASA, CAAC or other applicable aviation authority requirements.

Role Requirements :

  • Minimum Diploma in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • More than 1 year of relevant hands-on experience with safety/emergency equipment in an MRO shop or equivalent.
  • Possess relevant CAAS papers (M10, L11, L12) or approved modules PCAWO (M1000 & M2000) will be a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency in interpreting CMMs and engineering drawings
  • Team player with a strong sense of commitment to ensure tasks are carried out within the time frame.
  • Proactive and positive team player with a strong enthusiasm for continuous learning and skill development.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
  • Willingness and able to work overtime as and when required, based on operational needs.

Working Days / Hours

  • 5 day work week / 37.5 hours
