Job summary

Trisome is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join its Valve Automation Division. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and troubleshooting automated valve systems, including pneumatic, electric and hydraulic actuators.

You will read diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, and provide on-site technical support and training to customers while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of valve automation systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, calibrators and field communicators.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and commission valve actuators and control accessories.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on valve automation systems.
• Diagnose electrical, pneumatic and mechanical issues.
• Read drawings, wiring diagrams and P&IDs.
• Prepare service and inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Support retrofitting and upgrades of valve systems.
• Provide on-site technical support and training to customers.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our Valve Automation Division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated valve systems, including pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic actuators.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission valve actuators and control accessories (limit switches, positioners, solenoids, etc.).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on valve automation systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Prepare service and inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support retrofitting and upgrades of existing valve systems.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all service activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITC/NTV2-3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in valve automation or industrial maintenance (preferred).
• Working knowledge of valve types, actuator systems, and control circuits.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, calibrators, and field communicators.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
