Qualifications

APAQ is headquartered in Singapore with a branch office in Jakarta and project partners spanning the ASEAN Region. We are looking for a Service Technician for our Singapore Headquarter.

Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, maintenance and calibration work of meteorological and air quality monitoring instruments and systems.
  • Provide technical service support such as maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of meteorological and air quality monitoring instruments
  • Prepare full service and technical reports on installation, commissioning, maintenance and calibration works
  • Conduct product training and prepare training materials for clients
  • Provide technical expertise support for project proposals and developments
  • 24/7 Standby duty as required, including outside regular working hours
Education and Skills Requirements
  • Relevant education in Engineering (Nitec and above)
  • Relevant experience in instrument/analyser operation, calibration and maintenance is advantageous
  • Good team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written skills in English
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment, self-motivated and proactive
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Having a class 3 driving license is an advantage
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Senior position
  • The position is based in Singapore, occasional overseas travel required
