Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Service Sustainability Engineer. This role involves coordinating with contractors, supporting data analytics, and enhancing energy conservation efforts while ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of HVAC refrigeration systems and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Coordination and Documentation
- Coordinate with maintenance contractors to ensure timely service execution.
- Review and validate maintenance checklists, ensuring all necessary documentation and customer D.O. sign-offs are completed within the required timeline.
Data Analytics and Automation Support
- Assist the data analytics team in improving automation processes for data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
- Support the detection and resolution of system faults through root cause analysis.
Energy Conservation Planning
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive energy conservation action plan, outlining both short-term and long-term goals.
Operational Scheduling and Monitoring
- Prepare operational and maintenance schedules aligned with the contractual requirements.
- Perform remote monitoring of system operations and performance, initiating contact with sites during emergencies.
Customer Support and Satisfaction
- Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and recommend upselling opportunities during routine or ad-hoc maintenance tasks.
Equipment Familiarization and Onsite Support
- Gain in-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, including chillers, freezers, compressors, cooling towers, FCUs, cold rooms, ETV doors, and related controllers.
- Collate onsite operating parameters (e.g., cold room and space temperature) and validate data using SCADA systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams on programming and control-related onsite tasks.
Team Collaboration and Execution
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery according to planned schedules.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and their components, such as chillers, compressors, and SCADA systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and fault detection.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills for contractor and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of energy conservation strategies and action plan development is an advantage.
