A medical device company in Singapore is seeking a service engineer to support and service medical/surgical products. Responsibilities include device commissioning, maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent communication. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Biomedical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, has prior experience, and possesses strong interpersonal skills.

Job description

Reporting to the Engineering Service Manager, you will represent the Company to support and service our range of medical/surgical products to medical professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct device commissioning, preventive maintenance, inspection, corrective maintenance, applications integration and resolve technical problems as and when required.
  • Investigate product complaints and determine repair requirements until total corrective action is taken
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer rapport
  • Maintains proper record of support and service work conducted
  • Manage field inventory, tools, test equipment, technical documentation and other assigned equipment
  • Project Management, monitor project progress and ensure all works are completed within the time frame
  • Involved in projects by providing technical expertise and creative problem solving.
  • Guide and coordinate with Project Engineers on site
  • Provide prompt, reliable and clear communication to stakeholders
  • Ensure that all key performance indicators for revenue, service job turnaround time and service orders are met.

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma, Biomedical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering preferred

· Knowledge in IT Network and System preferred

· Minimum 1 year work experience preferred

· Enthusiastic team player who can also work independently’

· Good spoken and written English

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Customer focused, positive work attitude and self-motivated

· Good sense of urgency
