Our client is a Japanese company specializing in the manufacturing, sales, and maintenance of valves. The Service & Sales Engineer (Valves) will be responsible for providing technical support and servicing for valve maintenance, while also managing client relationships and driving sales initiatives.

You will report directly to the Managers.

Responsibilities:

1. Service and maintain valves, actuators, and related equipment on vessels and power plants.
2. Coordinate on-site work and give technical support to guarantee efficient operations.
3. Transport personnel and deliver tools and repair supplies as required.
4. Generate quotes, service reports, and maintenance paperwork.
5. Complete any additional work or ad hoc duties as given.
6. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients (90% existing clients), while identifying potential new customers.
7. Propose and sell valve products and maintenance services, offering technical solutions based on customer needs.
8. Draft and present quotations, proposals, and maintenance agreements tailored to client requirements.

Requirements & Preferences:
Must:

1. ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related fields).
2. At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Mechanical/Engineering/Chemical fields, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, anchorage, or Shipyard industries.
3. Fluent in English to liaise with counterparts.
4. Willingness to work on weekends or public holidays, if required.
5. Willing to travel for business at least 3 times a year (2-3 weeks in Malaysia per trip).
6. Possess a valid Class 3 Driving License.

1. Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
2. Ability to work independently and liaise with clients promptly.
