Job summary

SHINPO Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a skilled marine radio technician to perform radio surveys, service and repair of navigation and communication equipment on vessels. You will inspect, test and troubleshoot MF/HF, VHF, Voyage Data Recorder, gyro-compass, autopilot, radar and radiotelephone systems.

This role requires independent testing and installation of equipment, with on-board inspections and troubleshooting to ensure seaworthy operation.

Qualifications

• Experience with marine radio equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radio surveys and inspections of ship radio communication and radio navigational installations
• Independently test, repair, install and inspect MF/HF, VHF, Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), Gyro-compass, Autopilot, marine radar, radiotelephone systems
• Perform service, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting activities for navigation and communication equipment on vessels
• Independently test, repair, install and inspect equipment such as MF HF, VHF, Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), Gyro-compass, Autopilot, marine radar, radiotelephone etc.
