Job summary

A leading company in welding logistics is seeking a technician to join their team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of welding equipment and should have an electrical engineering background along with relevant experience. This role offers a five-day work week with regular hours and the opportunity to work independently within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background (with certification) is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite and independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of welding-related equipment.
• Provide onsite support as part of the team.

Part of a team to perform installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of welding-related equipment (welding machines, CNC, automated systems, column&boom, rotators, positioners etc) via onsite support

Job Requirement:

1. Electrical engineering background (with certification)

2. Having mechanical engineering knowledge is advantageous

3. Having prior experience with welding-related equipment is advantageous

4. Familiarity with 2D CNC Oxyfuel/Plasma cutting is preferred

5. Familiarity with usage of multi-meter

6. Able to read a wiring diagram

7. Able to work independently & within a team

8. Having at least 2 years of experience in similar role is preferred

9. Able to work onsite

10. Have driving license

11. 5 day-work week with working hours 8am-5pm
