Service Engineer (MNC, West, No working experience required)

• Location: Pandan (moving to Jurong East in 2025)
• Service Engineer in Marine navigation system
• Salary: up to $4,000

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Attending ships in terminal, anchorage, shipyard for repair, installation, troubleshooting services.
2. Report and documentation as per company procedures (E.g. Update of Software, database, etc.).
3. Timely completion of technical and service work report.
4. Conducting fault-finding process and resolve the technical issue onboard as appropriate.
5. Providing technical support both onsite and remotely for company product to the customer.
6. Providing support to coordinators.
7. Ensuring that the work is executed according to Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
8. Ad-hoc duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements:

1. At least a Diploma in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or related field with at least three years of relevant experience.
2. Experience in programming, commissioning and service of Marine navigation systems.
3. Experience in the hardware and software for the Marine navigation systems.
4. Excellent product knowledge in SAM Electronics and other navigation systems.
5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
