Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, proactive and technically skilled Service Engineer to provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for our equipment and systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge in mechanical systems, electronics, PLCs, sensors, and automation controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and commissioning of systems, machinery, and equipment at client sites.
- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks according to service schedules.
- Interface with PLC controllers, sensors, actuators, and HMIs; perform system calibration and tuning.
- Collaborate with factory design and R&D teams to relay customer feedback and field issues.
- Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and customer feedback records.
- Train end-users or client technicians on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards during field operations.
- Travel domestically and/or internationally for field service assignments, as required.
Requirements:
- Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support.
- Hands-on knowledge of PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Omron), pneumatics, motor drives, and sensor systems.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Willing to travel and work independently on-site.
Preferred:
- Experience with industrial automation, robotics, or custom-built machinery.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, Industry 4.0 interfaces, or remote monitoring platforms.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and/or safety certification will be good
