About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Service Engineer - Marine to join our team at PacMaK DB Naval Charterers & Consultants (Pte.) Ltd. in the Central Region. As a Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing marine equipment, ensuring our clients' vessels operate safely and efficiently. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of marine equipment and other critical systems onboard ship.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing effective solutions

• Liaise with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert technical advice

• Maintain detailed records of all service and repair activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations

• Collaborate with the wider team to implement continuous improvements and optimise maintenance procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Engineer in the marine industry

• Strong technical skills and expertise in the maintenance and repair of marine equipment

• Working knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues

• Willingness to travel to client sites as required

• Relevant qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Experience in Automation, Instrumentation will be added advantage.
