Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation or related Engineering.
• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning or technical support is preferred.
• Experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, weighing systems or industrial equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite installation, calibration and commissioning of industrial equipment and systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to ensure reliable equipment performance and minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on operation and maintenance of industrial weighing and measurement solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with internal engineering and technical support teams.
• Prepare service reports and technical documentation and recommendations to improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project teams to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of solutions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Follow all relevant safety procedures, compliance requirements and industry standards onsite.
• Keep up to date with new industrial technologies and developments through ongoing training and learning.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, onsite technical work and customer interaction, with opportunities to work on a wide range of industrial equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation or related Engineering disciplines.
• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning or technical support is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, weighing systems or industrial equipment will have an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working at customer sites and in industrial environments.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
