Job description

Key responsibilities of the role includes:

  1. Service Solution
  • Inspection and Maintenance:
    • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on marine and offshore cranes.
    • Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and is operationally efficient.
  • PLC and HMI Programming:
    • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC and HMI systems for crane operations.
    • Work with systems from Siemens, Mitsubishi, ABB, and Schneider to enhance automation processes.
  • Technical Troubleshooting:
    • Identify and resolve operational issues in cranes and their control systems.
    • Collaborate with teams to improve system functionality and reliability.
  • On-Site Support:
    • Provide on-site assistance for installations, testing, and commissioning.
    • Support clients with operational guidance and technical expertise.

2. Administrative

  • Maintain detailed service logs, inspection records, and reports.
  • Prepare recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and preventative measures.

3. Training

  • Attend training and ensure that the technical skills and product knowledge are kept up to date
  • Ensure the validity of relevant certifications to carry our Service jobs, and renew accordingly for expiring certificates.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience or foundational knowledge in PLC and HMI programming.
  • Familiarity with Siemens, Mitsubishi, ABB, and Schneider systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in marine or offshore environments is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and safety protocols is beneficial.
  • Fresh diploma holders with knowledge of PLC and HMI programming are encouraged to apply.
  • Willingness to travel and work offshore as required
