Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Service Engineer (Chiller) to manage customer enquiries and technical problems. Candidates must have a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in chillers. The role requires technical experience with air-conditioning systems and offers a competitive salary of $3000 - $4500 plus overtime pay.

Qualifications

Job description

Service Engineer (Chiller)

• Salary $3000 - $4500 + OT payable
• Location: Ang Mo Kio
• Working days/hours: Mon – Friday, 8am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries and complaints, including on-site calls
• Recommend preventive measures and provide prompt and effective resolution to technical problems
• Assuage dissatisfied customers with prompt resolutions for any product or service issues
• Provide guidance and technical assistance to service teams and sub-contractors on service assignments, testing and commissioning; verify and prepare payment to sub-contractors
• Remain actively involved in the implementation of department strategies and initiatives such as service value-chain businesses
• Update Service information system and follow up with all necessary paperwork diligently, timely and accurately for smooth operation of the department

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• With at least 5 years of experience in chillers (maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul, annual shutdown)
• With technical experience with knowledge in air-conditioning, chiller, ACMV or HVAC systems
