Job summary

A leading air-conditioning firm is seeking a candidate in Singapore to handle customer enquiries and provide technical support. The role involves assisting service teams and resolving complaints with a strong focus on HVAC systems. Candidates should possess a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of technical experience with knowledge in air-conditioning, chiller, ACMV or HVAC systems.
• Resourceful individuals with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Possess Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries and complaints, including on-site calls
• Recommend preventive measures and provide prompt and effective resolution to technical problems
• Assuage dissatisfied customers with prompt resolutions for any product or service issues
• Provide guidance and technical assistance to service teams and sub-contractors on service assignments, testing and commissioning; verify and prepare payment to sub-contractors
• Remain actively involved in the implementation of department strategies and initiatives such as service value-chain businesses
• Update Service information system and follow up with all necessary paper work diligently, timely and accurately for smooth operation of the department

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience with knowledge in air-conditioning, chiller, ACMV or HVAC systems
• Resourceful with good analytical and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
• Good team player with ability to lead and multi-task
• Possess Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage
