Job description

Faulty Engines, Equipment, and Generators

1. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with industrial generators, marine engines, electrical systems, and equipment to identify causes of malfunctions or breakdowns.
2. Offer alternative solutions to problems and provide relevant cost estimates for materials and services beyond the scope of the contracted service.

Testing, Installation, and Commissioning

1. Assist in the installation of industrial generators, marine engines, electrical systems, and equipment after repairs or overhauls.
2. Assist in the commissioning of industrial generators, engines, electrical systems, and equipment to ensure proper functioning upon completion of installation.
3. Conduct testing of company products.

After Sales Service

1. Ensure adequate after-sales service by performing regular servicing and maintenance on power solutions delivered and contracted with CLLS.
2. Provide technical assistance and advice to sales personnel and customers.
3. Assist service engineers in coordinating, scheduling, and planning service activities.
4. Provide market information, complaints, and customer expectations to Parts and Service Manager when available.

Service Report

1. Ensure all service records are updated by preparing and submitting service reports promptly after each servicing assignment.
2. Provide feedback on the performance of engines and/or generators.
3. Prepare proper technical reports detailing work done, fault findings, causes, prevention, and rectification.

Education / Professional Qualification

• Min Nitec or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Min 3 years of relevant industry experience
