Service Engineer (Analytical Instrument)

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare service and spare parts quotations to customers' enquiries.
2. Perform service tasks like in-house repair and on-site commissioning for various gas and water quality analyzers, CEMS, and AQMS.
3. Troubleshoot analyzers and advise customers on the best solutions in accordance with standard procedures and safety guidelines.
4. Create and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide good service support.
5. Liaise and work with customers to address any service concerns and provide solutions to technical problems.
6. Support project teams to perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for projects.
7. Identify potential opportunities to secure new preventive and maintenance contracts.
8. Provide product training to end users and distributors.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Environmental, Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification).
2. Preferably 2-3 years of working experience or more in the analytical instruments or related field.
3. Knowledge of gas analyzers, CEMS, and water quality analyzers would be advantageous.
4. Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
5. Good planning and time management skills to achieve job efficiency.
6. Preferably possess own transport.
