As a subsidiary, Lasertec Singapore supports our customers’ needs with maintenance service for the mask inspection machines.

We are currently seeking an Engineer to join our team.

In this role, your responsibilities are to:

  • Provide technical support to customers either on-site or remotely.

  • Troubleshoot and repair machines at customer site.

  • Install new test machines and software upgrades.

  • Work on projects such as creating manuals/SOPs etc.

This role requires you to:

  • Have a Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or related qualifications.

  • Have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Words.

  • Have work experience in a customer support environment.

  • Have work experience in a semiconductor industry for more than 3 years.

  • Have knowledge in laser, Oscilloscope/Spectrum analyzer/other instruments.

  • Have proficiency in Japanese, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with counterparts in Japan during weekly meetings, training sessions or troubleshooting instances.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has strong interpersonal skills with good oral and written communication skills.

  • Is able to travel overseas short notice.

  • Is flexible to work on selected weekends and public holidays (Following PM schedule).

  • Is self-driven in pursuing technical knowledge needed for the job.

  • Is a hands-on problem solver, skilled in machine maintenance.
