About You

You will be responsible for managing a team of service and callback technicians in day-to-day operations and the productivity of each technician.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage a team of service and callback technicians in the daily operations of lifts and escalators.
  2. Ensure the productivity of each technician.
  3. Monitor callback trends and implement actions to reduce callbacks.
  4. Eliminate Rebel and critical units, if any.
  5. Ensure technicians attend to callbacks promptly within response time.
  6. Maintain equipment availability meeting KPIs.
  7. Keep equipment downtime within permitted repair times.
  8. Ensure servicing according to schedule with no missed services.
  9. Attend site meetings and follow up on work completion.
  10. Verify inventory and prepare purchase requisitions and sales orders via JDE system.
  11. Extract callback data for monthly analysis via SMS system.
  12. Update order tracker based on forecasts and perform goods receiving.
  13. Gather site findings and submit via FTB for defective components.
  14. Record calibration expiry dates of tools and equipment monthly.
  15. Distribute PPE, tools, and equipment to technicians as needed.
  16. Provide field and administrative support to service & operations teams.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Engineer.
  3. Experience in lift and escalator industry preferred.
  4. Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  6. Leadership qualities and team spirit; adaptable to a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
