Service Engineer

Company Overview
Our client is a leading provider of advanced energy solutions, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and servicing of power generation systems, including gas turbines and steam turbines. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Service Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) customers, providing technical support for gas turbine power plants.
2. Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and vendors to plan and execute planned and unplanned maintenance.
3. Analyse Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) metrics, reporting on KPIs to meet contractual obligations.
4. Conduct on-site troubleshooting and provide technical advice during emergencies, including off-hours.
5. Prepare and present clear technical documentation, including reports and proposals.
6. Identify potential equipment failures with the remote monitoring hub and recommend preventive measures.
7. Support the development of aftermarket sales opportunities and customer relationship management.

Key Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
2. At least 3 years of experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, or large-scale rotating equipment.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and diverse environments.
6. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Willingness to travel to customer sites and work flexible hours as needed.
