A leading company in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a Field Service Engineer to oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of their Switchgear Products. The role demands significant experience in low/medium voltage systems, with clear expectations for communication and independent working abilities. Successful candidates will engage with clients and contribute technical insights to sales efforts, ensuring top-tier service and company compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field service experience in Oil & Gas.
• Relevant experience in servicing Low/Medium Voltage Switchgear Products.
• Experience with Protection Relays and Motor Relays is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site supervision, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Switchgear Products.
• Perform Product lifecycle Audit at the site and recommend courses of action.
• Provide technical support to the Sales Team when required.

Qualifications & experience

Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of field service experience in Oil & Gas or Utility industry, servicing Low/Medium Voltage Switchgear Products

Relevant experience working on Protection Relays and Motor Relays is an advantage

Able to work independently.

Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems or support other field service personnel

Only those with relevant experience in Switchgear will be considered.

Tasks & responsibilities

Conduct on-site installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of the company's Switchgear Products

Perform Product lifecycle Audit at the site, and recommend courses of action.

Regular interaction with customers and factory colleagues at a professional level.

Provide adequate documentation and reports upon completion of each assigned job.

Adhering to the company's HSE policy and being committed to the principles and practices of the Company's Business Conduct and Ethics.

Manage customer relationships and provide technical support to the Sales Team when required.
