Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service engineers for testing and commissioning.
• Provide emergency/on-call service to customers.
• Conduct maintenance contract service and plant shutdown services.
• Assist in daily departmental activities.
• Perform site commissioning/start-up services for analyzer systems.

Job description

• To lead a team of service engineers for in-house testing, factory acceptance test and site commissioning

• Provide emergency/ on call service jobs to customers

• Provide maintenance contract service and plant shutdown services

• Provide in-house service repair for analysers

• To assist service manager/deputy service manager on daily activities of the department

• To perform site commissioning/ start-up services for analyzer system

• To take up assignment for oversea long / short term maintenance contract

• Oversee the maintain of all service test equipment

• Ensure that the testing room to be in good working conditions

• Assist Service Manager/deputy Service Manager to establish training programs for new/ existing service personnel

• To provide guidance to service personnel in problem solving

• Establish test procedures for service department

• Conduct training to existing and new service personnel

• To assist Service Manager/Deputy Service Manager in preparing yearly department budget

• To assist Service Manager/Deputy Service Manager in planning schedule and distribution of service workload

• Any other adhoc duties assigned
