Job summary

A leading company in Marine repair services is seeking a Service Engineer responsible for preparing workshop reports, conducting inspections onboard vessels, and handling engine parts reconditioning in a dynamic workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine and offshore industries, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine and offshore repair industries.
• Ability to prepare workshop reports and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of PSA and shipyard working procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workshop report and manpower planning.
• Work onboard vessels for inspection/discussion when needed.
• Handle workshop engine parts reconditioning and write service reports.

Service Engineer

- Experience in Marine and offshore repair industries

- Experience in handle Workshop engine parts reconditioning

- Resourceful and able to work under pressure

- Able to prepare risk assessment and safe work procedure

- Knowledge of PSA, Shipyard working procedures

- Prepare Workshop report and manpower planning

- Able to go on board vessel for inspection / discussion if required

- Experience in marine and Offshore Industries

- Knowledge of Marine Diesel Engine and Engine Components

- Preferable in Spare parts Reconditioning

- Able to work in Workshop and Onboard

- Able to write service report etc will be advantage

- Able to prepare risk assessment relating to sale work procedure

- Able to work under pressure and good team player
