Responsibilities
- To provide services to customers with the maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Programming of Fire Alarm Panels and Systems: Configure and program fire alarm control panels, addressable devices, and related systems (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Notifier).
- System Testing and Commissioning: Conduct functional and acceptance testing of integrated fire protection systems, and debug software-related issues in the field.
- Fire System Design & Integration: Design, implement, and maintain fire detection, suppression, and alarm systems in compliance with local and international standards
- To assist in proposing, and recommending contracts to customers
- To assist service dept and promote the renewal of existing contracts
- To identify and promote system upgrades to customer as and when required
- To perform preventive/corrective maintenance and periodic inspection on Fire Protection System at client's premises.
- Solve complex issues and restore the client’s system operation
- To provide regular feedback to customers and the Company on project progress and to ensure that excellent communication is delivered.
- To ensure that all project administration is carried out efficiently and effectively and to produce management data and reports if required.
- Coordinate with subcontractors on job progress.
- To conduct regular training to corporate customer was when required.
Qualifications & Competencies
The incumbent should possess: -
- Higher NITEC/Diploma in Engineering/IT/Building Technology or related discipline
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in fire protection system
- Basic understanding of fire alarm system programming
- Foundational skills in cable troubleshooting and device connectivity
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for drafting and interpreting drawings
