We are seeking a results-driven Director of Service Delivery to lead the delivery of cloud and hybrid infrastructure services for Government Shared Services Centers. This leadership role requires strong technical expertise across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), hybrid environments (network, on-prem servers, storage, databases), monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog), and security best practices.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record delivering high-performing services in government environments, ensuring availability, performance, and compliance, while building strong stakeholder relationships and high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Service Delivery: Oversee end-to-end delivery of infrastructure services, ensuring SLA compliance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

• Technical Strategy: Provide leadership across cloud, hybrid environments, network, storage, databases, and monitoring platforms.

• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with government stakeholders; align services with their needs.

• Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and lead service delivery teams focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Operations & Processes: Optimize delivery processes, implement ITIL practices, and drive automation.

• Incident & Change Management: Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and manage infrastructure changes with minimal disruption.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies and government regulations; collaborate with security teams.

• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs/SLAs and deliver performance reports with actionable insights.

• Budget & Vendors: Manage budgets and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective service delivery.

• Business Continuity: Maintain disaster recovery and continuity plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• 10+ years in IT service delivery, including 5+ in leadership.

• Deep expertise in:

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Hybrid IT architecture and infrastructure

  • Networking, storage, databases

  • Monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog)

  • ITIL practices and security standards

• Experience with Government Shared Services and regulatory compliance.

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Budget/resource management experience.

Preferred:

• ITIL, Cloud (AWS/Azure), or Security (CISSP/CISM) certifications.

• Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

• Familiarity with government compliance standards (e.g., IM8).
