A leading bakery in Singapore is seeking a friendly and attentive service crew member to provide exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth front-of-house operations, educating customers about our artisan products, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bakery. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in F&B, bakery, or café settings is a MUST.

Job description

As part of the service crew at our artisan bakery, you will be the face of our brand—providing warm, friendly, and attentive service to our customers. You will assist with front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting our handcrafted baked goods with passion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and guide them through the menu.

  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customer preferences.

  • Take and process orders accurately via POS system.

  • Serve baked goods, coffee, and beverages efficiently and with care.

  • Ensure the display counters are always clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.

  • Assist in packaging products attractively for takeaway orders.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining and service areas.

  • Monitor product freshness and inform the kitchen or baker of restocking needs.

  • Support in opening, closing, and general upkeep of the bakery.

  • Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in F&B, bakery, or café settings is a MUST.

  • Friendly personality with good communication and customer service skills.

  • Interest in artisanal products, coffee, and baked goods.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.

  • Basic knowledge of POS systems is a plus.

  • Able to speak in English and Mandarin an added advantage to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Work Conditions:
  • Standing for long periods.

  • Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
