A leading F&B provider in Singapore is seeking a dedicated service staff member. Responsibilities include customer interaction, order processing, and maintaining a clean service area. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Previous experience in food and beverage is preferred but not mandatory. Weekend and holiday availability is essential.
• Check with Manager or Supervisor to discuss the day’s specials, promotions, new items and any important updates.
• Coordinate with Kitchen staff to ensure communication is clear and efficient.
• Communicate issues (if any) or observations from the day to the manager or supervisor.
• Conduct a brief end-of-day meeting if needed to address any immediate concerns or feedback. Before leaving the premise, check all enclosed areas.
• Contribute to customer service over various platforms.
• Cultivate productivity and innovative mindset.
• Demonstrate the service vision.
• Always pay close attention to customers and respond to them immediately.
• Follow food and beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Implement operations for service excellence.
• Interact with and serve food and beverage guests.
• Maintain food and beverage production and service environment.
• Prepare for service (mise en place).
• Process payments.
• Project a positive and professional image.
• Provide counter/take-away service.
• Respond to service challenges.
• Solve problems and make decisions at operations level.
• Use essential features of a computer.
• Use primary functions and applications of a tablet compute
• Greet customers upon arrival
• Answer any questions the customers might have
• Take orders with accuracy
• Repeat orders to customers to ensure they are correct
• Check with customers to ensure their overall satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized dining room and service area
• Complete all side work at end of shift
• Comply with all health and food safety regulations at all times
Job Requirements:
Previous experience in F&B preferred (but not mandatory)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Able to work weekends, public holidays, and shift hours
Positive attitude, well-groomed, and customer-oriented
