Job description

Job Summary:

The Service Crew Leader is responsible for leading the service team on the floor, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer service. This role includes supervising junior crew, maintaining cleanliness and service standards, and assisting in training and daily coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Support the supervisor in managing daily floor operations.
  • Guide and motivate service crew members during shifts.
  • Ensure cleanliness, order, and readiness of the dining and service area.
  • Greet customers warmly, take orders, and handle transactions accurately.
  • Manage customer feedback or complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup and cashiering.
  • Ensure all crew comply with hygiene, safety, and service protocols.
  • Train new crew members on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a café, restaurant, or F&B outlet.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

  • WSQ Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred).
  • Experience with POS systems and basic cashiering duties.
  • Ability to assist in simple food or beverage preparation is a bonus.
