Job summary

The Living Cafe is inviting applications for a Cafe Service Crew in Singapore. Join a vibrant team focused on delivering excellent coffee and customer service.

You will welcome guests, take orders on the POS, suggest menu items, and ensure high presentation standards across food and beverages. Role involves busy service periods, basic cash handling, daily cleaning and stock replenishment, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve customers with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
• Recommend menu items, daily specials, beverages, desserts, and retail products to enhance the customer experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Prepare simple beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, and specialty drinks according to café recipes.
• Handle cashiering duties and process payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, service stations, beverage bar, and restrooms.
• Clear, reset, and sanitize tables efficiently.
• Restock takeaway packaging, condiments, retail products, and service supplies throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including daily cleaning checklists.
• Support inventory checks and minimize food wastage by following café procedures.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards are followed.
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Perform other operational duties assigned by the Outlet Manager.

Requirements:

• No Quota Available at the moment
• Barista experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for high-quality coffee and delivering excellent customer service
• Flexibility to work within operating hours (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM), including weekends and public holidays
