Job Summary:
As a Service Crew member at our artisan bakery, you will be the face of our brand, providing warm, attentive customer service while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. You will handle daily front-of-house operations including order taking, serving, cashiering, and basic food and drink preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, personalized service
- Take and process orders accurately (dine-in, takeaway, or delivery)
- Prepare and serve bakery items, sandwiches, drinks, and other menu items
- Operate the POS system and handle cash, card, and e-payment transactions
- Provide product recommendations and describe baked goods when needed
- Ensure cleanliness of the dining and service area, including tables, counters, and displays
- Assist with restocking displays, condiments, and takeaway packaging
- Pack and label bakery products with care and accuracy
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards
- Support opening and closing duties as assigned
- Assist team members and adapt to tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations
Requirements:
- Experience in F&B or café setting preferred but not required (training will be provided)
- Cheerful personality and strong customer service skills
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic food handling or hygiene certification is a plus
