Job description

Job Summary:

As a Service Crew member at our artisan bakery, you will be the face of our brand, providing warm, attentive customer service while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. You will handle daily front-of-house operations including order taking, serving, cashiering, and basic food and drink preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, personalized service
  • Take and process orders accurately (dine-in, takeaway, or delivery)
  • Prepare and serve bakery items, sandwiches, drinks, and other menu items
  • Operate the POS system and handle cash, card, and e-payment transactions
  • Provide product recommendations and describe baked goods when needed
  • Ensure cleanliness of the dining and service area, including tables, counters, and displays
  • Assist with restocking displays, condiments, and takeaway packaging
  • Pack and label bakery products with care and accuracy
  • Follow hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards
  • Support opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Assist team members and adapt to tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations
Requirements:
  • Experience in F&B or café setting preferred but not required (training will be provided)
  • Cheerful personality and strong customer service skills
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Basic food handling or hygiene certification is a plus
