A leading company in heavy-duty machinery seeks a Service Center Lead to oversee maintenance and repair services for transport equipment and waste management solutions. The role involves managing a team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and scheduling repairs. The Service Center Lead supports the service operations and coordinates with the mobile service engineers to ensure seamless maintenance and repair services for transport equipment and waste management solutions. This role includes the management of his/her team’s overtime, planning 24/7 breakdown support so as to provide exceptional and efficient customer service.

Job Responsibilities:
Schedule and manage workshop maintenance and repair tasks.
Plan mobile service engineers for repairs or service needs.
Track and manage team overtime, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Monitor workshop and mobile service performance, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Coordinates with the team to ensure timely job completion and updates to customer.
Handle customers’ enquires, in consultation with aftersales manager as needed.
Analyze service data and performance, customer feedback to identify trends for improvements.

Key Requirements:
Technical background in vehicle maintenance, waste management equipment preferred.
Good organizational and coordination skills, including scheduling and resource allocation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and resolve conflicts.
Experiences required
Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar job.
Experience with workshop management systems and mobile service coordination.
Fresh degree graduates with passion for customer service and automotive industry may apply.
Education / Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or Diploma with 5 or more years related working experience
Class 3 driving license
