A dynamic events firm in Singapore is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand its portfolio. The successful candidate will leverage 2-3 years of experience in the events industry to cultivate client relationships and drive business growth. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, managing vendor relations, and ensuring high standards in event execution.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our team and help expand our events portfolio. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in the events or experiential marketing industry, with a strong understanding of client servicing, business growth, excellent networking skills, and a passion for the events industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Servicing:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
Understand client briefs and ensure smooth execution with internal teams.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, wedding, and lifestyle events.
Create and present proposals, pitch decks, and cost estimates to potential clients.
Attend industry events and networking opportunities to generate leads.
· Project Coordination:
Collaborate with production, creative, and vendor teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Ensure quality control and adherence to brand standards.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their event requirements.
Artist management:
Source, coordinate, and manage artists and performers based on client requirements. The role requires strong industry contacts and the ability to engage suitable talent for diverse events.
· Vendor management:
Identify and liaise with vendors for event-related collaterals and other client-specific needs. Candidates must have an existing network of reliable vendors and artist contacts.
Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands. Provide insights and recommendations to improve our event offerings.
Proposal Development:
Create compelling and customised proposals for clients. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals meet client expectations and align with company capabilities.
Event Planning and Execution:
Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless planning and execution of events. Ensure all client requirements are met, and events are delivered to the highest standard.
Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback. Use data to inform decision-making and strategy development.
