About the Role

The Link Building Lead (Off-Page SEO) will be responsible for managing and enhancing our link building strategies to improve our clients' search engine rankings and overall online presence.

In this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of all aspects of off-page SEO, including link building, influencer outreach, and content promotion. You will also need to effectively communicate with clients and other team members. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of two years of experience in an SEO-related role focused on off-page strategies. Job Description

As a Offpage SEO Lead at OOm, your primary responsibility is to enhance our clients' online authority and search engine rankings through strategic link building and off-page SEO tactics. You will achieve this through:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive link building strategies that align with clients' SEO goals

  • Researching and identifying high-quality link opportunities through various channels, including (but not limited to) blogs, forums, and industry publications

  • Managing outreach campaigns to secure backlinks from relevant and authoritative websites

  • Building and maintaining relationships with influencers, bloggers, and webmasters to facilitate ongoing link building efforts

  • Analyzing competitors' link profiles to identify and capitalize on link building opportunities

  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of link building campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Collaborating with content creators to develop link-worthy content that attracts natural backlinks

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in off-page SEO and link building

  • Providing training and guidance to SEO Associates & SEO Specialists on off-page SEO techniques

    • Conducting regular training sessions to enhance their skills in link building, outreach, and content promotion

    • Offering ongoing mentorship and support to ensure their growth and development within the company

  • Managing clients' accounts directly when necessary

  • Recruiting and grooming new hires into successful linkbuilding specialists and associates

We’re looking for you if…
  • Able to start immediately or within 1 month notice period

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a digital marketing agency

  • Minimum 1 year experience managing a digital marketing team

  • You possess a good to excellent understanding of off-page SEO techniques and link building strategies

  • You have a proven track record of acquiring high-quality backlinks

  • You are a detail-oriented individual with a love for problem-solving

  • You rely on your interpersonal skills to help you meet and gel with new individuals

  • You are able to think with the client’s needs in mind and deliver innovative and effective solutions according to their requirements

  • You thrive on multitasking and find adrenaline from working on multiple accounts including daily data analysis

  • Possess strong client management ability

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Collaborator with an ability to influence partners and teams to pursue a common goal

  • Skills that are good to have: Copywriting, Design, SEO, SEM, GA, Google Data Studio, HotJar, AHREFS, CMS (Wordpress, Shopify)
