Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in Singapore seeks a Sensory & Consumer Insight Intern to support sensory descriptive analysis, data compilation, basic analysis and communicate results. You will also explore consumer insights from Southeast Asia markets using internal tools.

You will gain hands-on experience with sensory panel operations, test preparation, data handling, and market trend research, contributing to product development in health, nutrition and beauty sectors.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Data Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.
Must be meticulous with an eye for detail.
Strong MS Office skills (Excel; data collation/analysis) and PowerPoint for data presentation.

Responsibilities

Perform routine laboratory activities including sample preparation and housekeeping for sensory panel testing.
Prepare sensory flavor references and samples following instructions for all evaluations.
Conduct basic sensory tests, data tabulation, simple analysis and reporting via in-house tools.
Coordinate with internal panelists to arrange sensory test appointments.
Manage incoming market products and prototypes for sensory tasting and evaluation at locations.
Assist in market and consumer trends research for Southeast Asia using internal tools.
