Job summary

AvePoint is seeking a Mechanical Engineer focused on product design to join our global team in Singapore. You will contribute to developing manufacturable designs, create prototypes using CAD tools, and test them to ensure safety and performance.

Collaboration with fabrication teams will refine specifications throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a 3+ year track record in product design, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, ProE), and an understanding of industrial design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 or more years of experience in product design.
• Proficiency with CAD software like SolidWorks and ProE.
• Knowledge of industrial design is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.
• Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function.
• Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards.
• Consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications.
• Assist in cost estimate calculation for final product designs.
