Senior WSH Coordinator

About the Job

The Senior WSH Coordinator will be responsible for the reinforcement of the work/project site’s safety, health, and environment management. He/She is required to work with the team onsite and support the project to ensure that all works are carried out safely and in accordance to legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the reinforcement of Workplace Safety, Health and environment programs and initiatives
2. Responsible for the enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
3. Responsible for ensuring strict compliance of procedures in statutory workplace, safety, health & environment requirements at project site and required premises
4. Responsible for the preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
5. Required to assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programmes
6. To perform any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time

Requirements

1. Possess minimum atleast an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in WSH in Construction and Building industry
3. Candidates who possess certificate in Lifting, Scaffolding, Confined Space Assessor will be preferred
4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
