Job summary

THE SUPREMEHR ADVISORY PTE LTD is seeking a senior WSH Officer cum ECO to support safety and environmental management across multiple projects in Singapore. • Bachelor's Degree in Workplace Safety, Health and Environment.
• Must hold MOM WSH Officer registration and NEA ECO registration.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in safety and environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in implementing the safety management system to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist in implementing the permit to work system and report incompatible works.
• Act as secretary of the Project WSH Committee and chair meetings for staff and subcontractors.
• Assist compliance with WSH Acts and Regulations.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections to improve safety standards.
• Ensure site compliance with safety requirements and in-house rules and report deviations.
• Recommend corrective measures for safety non-compliance.
• Update management on changes to statutory safety requirements and take action.
• Investigate accidents or incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with MOM/NEA/PUB on safety matters and related actions.
• Conduct safety training and safety campaigns.
• Keep safety documentation current for MOM/NEA/ISO audits.
• Carry out tasks for ISO 9000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 compliance.
• Be involved in risk assessment, planning and management programmes.
• Involve in sub-con safety and health matters for the site.
• Prepare and submit site environment control programmes.
• Inspect the site to ensure facilities and equipment support environmental health.
• Assist authorities in investigating outbreaks of infectious diseases.
• Organise campaigns and training to maintain environmental health standards.
• Assist Project Manager in managing workers' courses, attendance, and welfare.
• Assist in achieving safety standards required by the site's developer.
• Be involved in safety aspects for activities visible to the public.
