Job summary

A leading drilling company is seeking a Workplace Safety and Health Officer in Singapore. The role involves conducting site inspections, advising on safety policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates should have WSHO registration and several years of relevant experience, particularly with main contractors. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant projects while ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Registered WSHO under Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower.
• 7 years of practical experience as WSHO or equivalent.
• Security clearance for access to classified information.

Job description

Job Scope

• Conduct site inspections, identify safety lapses, and ensure corrective actions.

• Submit inspection reports and upload documents to Client’s digital repository (e.g., OPTIMUS).

• Advise contractors on Client's safety policies and best practices.

• Assist in incident investigations and recommend penalties.

• Support digital tools adoption (e.g., mobile apps, AI for safety monitoring).
  

Requirements

• Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) under Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

• Must have 7 years of practical experience as a WSHO (or equivalent/higher role).

Preference: At least 5 years of experience with a developer/main contractor

• Must pass security clearance for Client's projects and access to classified information.
