Job summary

Workday in Singapore is seeking a Sr. Functional Consultant to guide the successful implementation of Workday's Financial Management solutions for clients in APAC. You will leverage your implementation expertise to configure, test, and optimize the Workday platform to meet business requirements.

You will work with client project teams, mentor junior consultants, and ensure best practices while transitioning to production. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years implementing Financial/Expense ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Lawson, etc.) as either a consultant or customer.
• Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company.
• Functional expertise in at least one of: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the customer’s project team to design, configure and deploy their functional requirements.
• Become an expert in the Workday Financial Management product suite.
• Perform the following on an engagement: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
• Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday.
• Assist the integration consulting team to configure and test integrations between Workday and third‑party/custom solutions.
• Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements.
• Help mentor new consultants.
• Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices.
• Ensure the client is referenceable once the client is in production.
• Completing and maintaining product expertise and Workday Certification(s) along with familiarity with Workday roadmap.
• Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status.
