Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Senior Engineer specialized in Wintel/VS and Microsoft Windows systems to design, implement, and maintain enterprise Windows infrastructure. You will drive high availability, security, and performance while mentoring junior engineers and documenting procedures.

Role focuses on Windows Server administration, Hyper-V virtualization, System Center, AD/DNS/DHCP/GP, and PowerShell automation, with Azure hybrid integration and ongoing security

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Expertise with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022+ and related services.
• Proficient in Hyper-V, System Center, and virtualization technologies.
• Strong Active Directory, GP, DNS, DHCP, and networking knowledge.
• PowerShell scripting and automation for operations and admin tasks.
• Experience integrating Azure with on-premises Windows environments.
• Solid security practices: encryption, access controls, and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; mentoring abilities.
• Experience in project management and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable Windows Server infrastructure aligned with requirements.
• Administer and optimize Windows Server environments including AD/DNS/DHCP/GP.
• Implement and manage Hyper-V virtualization and System Center platforms.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex infra issues with root-cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate Azure cloud with on-premises Windows environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Perform performance analysis and optimization to ensure reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations and DR procedures.
• Stay current with Microsoft technologies, security updates, and standards.
